Length of internship: Length of internship: 6 months, March – August, 2020

 

Job description: As an intern at Fritz Hansen New York, you will be a part of a small American team of sales and marketing professionals focusing on residential and contract projects in the US, Latin America and Canada. You will furthermore be supporting the daily activities and tasks involved with the showroom in New York.

In addition to office support and logistics tasks, you will be expected to support regional sales and marketing projects on an ongoing basis. You will be challenged on business areas related to customer service, business development, PR, events, and marketing initiatives for the North American markets.

During the internship you will obtain an understanding of how a Danish corporation operates within North America, specifically regarding segmentation and positioning in the various markets.

As a part of a small team, you will be called upon to proactively assist in several cross-functional tasks that exist in such a small work environment.  An agile and can-do approach is a must.

You should have an interest in luxury goods and design and have excellent English proficiency.

This is an unpaid internship sponsored by The American Scandinavian Foundation. The Foundation will make sure all legal documents are properly executed.

Your qualifications: We expect you to be a student at the Bachelor level (undergraduate student or equal) at one of  the universities in Denmark.
