THE AUGUSTINUS FOUNDATION AND THE OBEL FAMILY FOUNDATION

Fritz Hansen is a subsidiary of the Augustinus Foundation, which supports cultural and artistic purposes on an annual basis. The Augustinus Foundation is a trader foundation and was founded in 1942 by tobacco manufacturer Louis Augustine. The foundation works for charitable, humane, artistic, scientific and other similar purposes.

Fritz Hansen is also owned by the Obel Family Foundation, which was founded in 1956. This foundation was established with three purposes: to ensure good management and create the best possible framework for the company of C.W. Obel A/S, to support the Obel family and to support non-profit purposes.
