COLLIERS

Office Copenhagen, Denmark

WARM, POWERFUL ELEGANCE

Colliers, a leading commercial real estate company, craved a modern work environment that reflected their values of openness, collaboration and flexibility.

Today, their headquarters, located in a historic building on Toldbodgade in central Copenhagen, has been freshened up thanks to a curated mix of Danish design classics and a bold pop of colour.

Light and airy, Collier’s Copenhagen headquarters was designed with people and functionality in mind. Beautifully-designed hubs and phonebooths are paired with timeless pieces from Fritz Hansen and other Danish designers – all in a cohesive, calm mix. The colours are kept in line with the Colliers brand; black, white, grey and blue, while tones such as tombak and brass add a warm and welcoming element to the space.

Décor was handpicked with a focus on quality, solidity and functionality. After investing in great pieces at their last location 10 years ago, Colliers endeavoured to reuse as much furniture as possible. Pieces such as Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Egg and Swan, Oxfordand Giraffechairs were reintroduced to the space, but re-upholstered in new colours and materials to give a bold new aesthetic.

In the reception, the Egg leaves a striking expression in a sleek black and cobalt blue. Elsewhere, in a meeting room, the Oxford chair, with its high back and smooth, curved form, offers a sense of understated elegance – a timeless addition to a contemporary workplace.
