Geranium, Copenhagen

Three Michelin stars endorse Geranium's declaration that thoughtfulness can be tasted, that our bodies know what's true and kind. For the restaurant's private dining room, Geranium's team has chosen Fritz Hansen furniture.

A MATTER OF TASTE

Geranium is a Danish gourmet restaurant, situated in Parken in the centre of Copenhagen.

In March 2013 Geranium received two Michelin stars and, in April of the same year, it was named the world’s 45th best restaurant in San Pellegrino's ‘The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.’ Geranium kept its two Michelin stars for 2014 and, on February 24, 2016, was the first Danish restaurant to receive three Michelin stars.

Geranium’s head chef is Rasmus Kofoed, who won the Bocuse d’Or in 2011. The restaurant’s mission is to create meals that involve all the senses – restoring, challenging and enriching its guests.

‘Dynamic means force and stands for the living, formative forces of nature. These forces are not visible, but their biologic "footprints" are. The effects can be seen if one learns to observe and understand the connections between the formative forces and the physical matter of all organisms.’

The restaurant’s team has chosen PK8™ seating and the PK54™ table designed by Poul Kjærholm for its Inspiration Kitchen. The room is ideal for private dining, anniversaries, meetings and other private events.
