Cast Iron

GENERAL INFORMATION

The dark and matte cast iron is an iron-carbon alloy with a high resistance to deformity, corrosion and wear.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

You do not need to clean the fire bowl – you only need to remove ashes as required.

WINTER STORAGE (FOR OUTDOOR FURNITURE)
Dry the fire bowl and store it in a dry room.

CLEANING & STAIN REMOVAL

Although hardwearing, the surface of cast iron will eventually rust if stored outdoors unattended. The best way to prevent this is to keep the surface greased and store your product inside when not in use. Before storing it, clean it with water, a mild detergent, and a brush. Dry off the product afterwards and grease the surface with cooking oil or similar. We recommend removing leftover oil spots with an engine degreaser.

CAUTION

Please note that rust and heat from the fire bowl can leave unwanted marks on wood terraces and grass. The iron will get hot, be careful not to move or touch the product during or after the fire is lit.
