LG Signature Kitchen Suite

Seoul, South Korea Architecture by Kim chan-joong

WARM SENSIBILITY

At the LG Signature kitchen suite in the Seoul’s affluent Cheongdam district, the design is contemporary and warm, with a focus on luxury appliances, designer pieces and quality craftsmanship.

Designed by renowned architect Kim Chan-joong, the 1,600 square meter showroom features a kitchen, café, living area, VIP lounge and artist’s atelier. Throughout the five-storey building, a muted palette of pink and grey-blue is accentuated with earthy materials such as solid wood and stainless steel, creating a warm, modern aesthetic.

In designing the space, Kim Chan-joong wanted to create a harmonised showroom experience with the best of LG’s luxury appliances alongside a curated selection of design pieces from renowned European designers.

The star of the showroom are the Signature Kitchen suites – sleek, minimalist spaces with stainless steel, copper and solid wood finishes. Here, guests are invited to experience LG’s various lifestyle solutions, and everything – from the appliances to the furniture – is available for purchase.

In the dining space, Fritz Hansen Grand Prix™ chair sits pretty alongside the famed Series 7™ chair by Arne Jacobsen. Both chairs add an element of personality to the room.

Elsewhere, in the lounge, Jaime Hayon's Ro™ lounge chair and the Fri™ easy chair create a mood of understated luxury. The Ro chair is aptly named after the Danish word for 'tranquillity’, creating space for relaxation and reflection, enticing you to immerse in its curves and take a moment for yourself.  The Fri™ easy chair adds a striking, sophisticated expression to any interior with its soft, sculptured form, pleasing to the body as it is to the eye.
